Shot: The book
Thanks to the generosity of friends and family and a successful Kickstarter campaign, in June of 2017 we released the book Shot: a couple, a country, and the stubborn quest for hope. The book tells the story of our time in El Salvador and my shooting.
The book is written by Christy Kurmm Richard. She devoted over a year to the process of interviewing people who witnessed the events of that day, and who knew our family’s journey to El Salvador. Christy writes with exquisite detail and fluid story telling. Her account provides a raw look into the life of our family, and points to hope in times of tragedy.
The book was featured in Nation Magazine.
